Particihation: As a Senior Software Engineer in Python, I successfully developed the "Bloomberg Latency Analysis System," a groundbreaking project for Bloomberg. This system revolutionized the analysis of binary logs from all devices within Bloomberg's infrastructure, which transmit critical data for financial trading. My role involved architecting and implementing a powerful computational framework. Leveraging a cluster of 250 machines, I designed a cutting-edge solution that parsed the entire Bloomberg traffic, calculated network load, and accurately measured data transmission latency. This comprehensive analysis provided invaluable insights into the performance of Bloomberg's trading infrastructure. Utilizing a robust tech stack, including Python, Flask, Pandas, Celery, Redis, Jenkins, Git, and Debian, I built a scalable and efficient system. With Python as the core language, Flask enabled me to develop a user-friendly and visually appealing UI. This interface showcased statistical reports and data visualizations, empowering Bloomberg's clients with actionable information for informed decision-making. By leveraging the power of data processing technologies, my efforts culminated in a seamless integration of the computational backend and the elegant UI. This transformational project has enhanced Bloomberg's ability to serve its clients effectively and strengthen its position as a leader in the financial market.
